The Palm was the location for our anniversary dinner!
This place was fabulous! We were greeted and seated in a quaint corner booth, and above us on the walls were caricatures of numerous famous people that had visited the restaurant over the years.
Two notable people in our corner were Ken Crews and Ronn Steen for nothing more than the Roll Tide accompanying their signatures. This definitely made us feel at home!
Appetizer:Jumbo Shrimp Bruno
(three jumbo shrimp française sautéed in a Dijon mustard sauce)
Salad: Iceberg Lettuce Wedge
(Danish Bleu Cheese, toasted walnuts, bacon, cherry tomatoes, chives, topped with fried onions)
Filet Mignon in Classic Oscar
(9oz cooked Medium, topped with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat, Asparagus & Hollandaise Sauce)
Side: Goat Cheese Whipped Potatoes
Dessert: Bag of Warm Doughnuts
(dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with chocolate and raspberry sauce)
